Summerfest 2011
Every summer is filled with memories of BBQ's, that iconic Summer song, flip flop blisters, lazy days in the park, road trips to the beach and many more....but this year at Summerfest 2010 were not looking back with fond memories but looking forward into the future and stirring expectation for what God is about to do!
The Bible says "the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations". (Ps 33:11). Every generation has the potential to see the city shaking purposes of God unleashed in their time... the question is not 'can God?' but 'will we decide to be a part of it'? God wants to unlock the nation changing potential within the teens and twenty something's of Hope City Church. Summer 2011 has never looked so exciting!
Summerfest 2010 was our best yet in a new venue, with bigger activities, more people and phenomenal Event Meetings. In 2011 you can expect more of the same so get ready to escape with the Youth, Students and Young Adults from across our five UK congregations to the 17th century castle ruins in Denbigh North Wales for 4 days and 3 nights of wild summer antics, incredible inspiration and Tribal Wars : YEAR 4. We will be staying in Howells School with full board, great accommodation, and loads of activities including our very own pool!
