Ghana Express Mission
You are invited to join Senior Pastors Dave and Jenny Gilpin and the Hope City Leadership Academy for this amazing 10 day mission that is set to change thousands of lives forever!
GHANA EXPRESS MISSION: 28th March - 6th April 2011
This is the annual mission trip from Hope City UK to Ghana! It will comprise of outreach in local schools and the university as well as mass promotion on the streets and surrounding communities for night rally meetings and the big weekend services with Pastor Chris Denham. You will also have the opportunity to meet your Compassion child and visit the local beaches and take a walk under the forrest canopy and experience the local landscape.
The Ghana Express
This will be a packed week of exciting days of mission work on the streets and university campuses of Accra, with night rallies at the Novotel Hotel and culminating with two huge services on the Sunday. There will also be an awesome trip to the villages where we at Hope City sponsor over 200 children. You’ll be able to meet the child you sponsor, bring them gifts for them and their family – it’ll be unforgettable for you and your sponsor child!
ITINERARY FOR MISSION
Here is a brief run down of what the team will be doing during mission.
Day 1
Fly from Heathrow Airport to Accra.
Travel to Hope City House, Unpack and relax
Day 2
Orientation
Prep Street Drama/Evangelism and take it to the streets!
Day 3
Hope City Mission in Accra - the Capital City and its schools!
Includes flyering and advertising in city centre Interviews and Street Talk.
Plus we'll be in the classrooms and playgrounds of the schools of Accra.
At night we'll be having our first Night Rally meeting with Ps Dave Gilpin!
Day 4
Hope City Mission in Accra - the Capital City and its schools!
Includes flyering and advertising in city centre Interviews and Street Talk.
Plus we'll be in the classrooms and playgrounds of the schools of Accra.
At night we'll be having our first Night Rally meeting with Ps Chris Denham!
Day 5
Beach and Street Blitz
Night Rally with Ps Chris Denham
Day 6
Big Mission Sunday in Accra City at the Novotel
AM & PM Services with Ps Chris Denham
Day 7
Hope City Mission in Accra - the Capital City and its schools!

Day 8
Travel to Compassion villages. Meet the team and children you sponsor
Visit playground built by last year’s mission team
Fun & Relaxation - BBQ & beach activities, Pool Party,
Possible Excursion to old capital town
Stay overnight at the beach
Day 9
Last dip in the sea
Travel Back to main compound in Accra
Day 10
Day at Shangri -la
Evening off to relax/pack up/watch a DVD
Home Day!
Fly home
EXCURSION
To finish the trip we'll be heading to the Cape Coast region for some fun at the beach for two nights.
